Hall of Fame - Andy Celestin

Andy Celestin has actively supported NCCA and the coil coating industry as an aggressive spokesman. Celestin has been an active member of NCCA through essentially two careers within the industry.

As an executive of Weirton Steel, Celestin aggressively promoted joint participation of projects between NCCA and AISI. He was also one of the very first to recognize the future prepaint potential of the residential roofing market and is regarded as one of the premier experts on the subject of prepainted metal in residential roofing. Celestin was actually the first NCCA member known to install a prepainted metal roof on his own home, which has been featured in trade publications and industry exhibitions.

Although retired from Akzo Nobel Coatings Inc., Celestin still tirelessly dedicates his time and expertise to anyone who needs to know or wants to hear about prepainted metal.
