Hall of Fame - J. "Pepper" Wardle

For over 40 years, A.J. Wardle has actively been on the front lines of the coil coating industry. During that time, as general sales manager at Colorstrip he worked closely with US Steel, Bethlehem and Kaiser in northern California to develop the concept of selling single bill prepainted metal. He has served on the NCCA Board of Directors, marketing, steel, rolling door, siding and roofing committees. Wardle managed his own single bill operation called Suprasales with Supracoate coating the metal.

The Hall of Fame award was created in 1992 by the board of directors to recognize individual members who have made outstanding contributions to the industry by promoting the use of decorative and functional coil coated metal.
