Innovation as a Global Market Strategy
April 11-13, 2011
Sanibel Harbour Marriott
Fort Myers, Fla.

Three Special Speakers

This year’s meeting features not one, not two, but three special speakers. All three will address hot topics: one will focus on innovation, one on social media, and one on steel market trends.

Drew Boyd: Innovation

Drew Boyd is a recognized authority in the field of innovation. A professor of marketing and innovation at the University of Cincinnati, he teaches that creativity and innovation are skills that anyone can master. He will reveal how your organization can gain a competitive edge and create a steady stream of innovative products and services.

Shari Worthington: Social Media

“Social Media: Why Do We Care, How Do You Put It to Work?” is Shari Worthington’s presentation. As the president of Telesian Technology, she will discuss how to create a strategy that outlives this exploding technology and how to integrate social media into your marketing mix.

John Packard: Steel Market Trends

John Packard, a 30+ year veteran in the flat-rolled steel industry and the founding father of Steel Market Update, will share his insights into the current flat-rolled steel market. Assessing key industry issues such as scrap prices, imports and capacity utilization rates, he will present his forecast of steel prices for the next few months.

Two Panel Discussions

Panel discussions have proven to be among our best-attended presentations. This meeting features two panels: one comprised of paint company representatives and another panel of pretreatment companies.

Each panel will discuss the current and future state of the global coil coating market from their perspective, focusing on emerging technologies and market trends.

Our 2011 Annual Meeting is a can’t-afford-to-miss event! The full meeting announcement contains all the meeting details to register for the meeting. If you have questions, contact the NCCA office at 216-241-7333.
