Michael Broome!
Our keynote speaker may be the highest recommended speaker we’ve ever had at an NCCA meeting. Since 1979, Michael Broome has addressed more than 3,000 audiences throughout the world. On Sept. 28, he will address our fall meeting as our luncheon speaker.
Known for his folksy wit and storytelling ability, Broome delivers practical advice about management and dealing productively with employees, customers, and family. His program is “emotionally powerful, intellectually penetrating, and spiced with spontaneous good humor.”
Trade Show!
The annual NCCA Trade Show, the most popular networking event in the industry, will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 27, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. The cost to exhibit is only $800. To reserve exhibit space, contact NCCA at 216-241-7333.
Plant Tour!
On Monday, Sept. 26, we offer a rare opportunity to tour the Renco Group’s steel production facility at Sparrows Point, Md., only 10 miles from our hotel. This historic plant, dating back to 1889, was formerly owned by Severstal, Mittal, and Bethlehem Steel.
The tour will take less than three hours and include transportation between the hotel and the plant. The NCCA office will begin taking reservations in August. For more information, call 216-241-7333.

As always, the fall meeting’s General Sessions will feature an array of hot technical topics, all tailored for the coil coating industry. The annual Safety Awards will also be presented on Sept. 28.
