Meeting Schedule:  Monday-Thursday Meeting Format

The board of directors will meet on Monday, and the Education Seminar and committee meetings will be held on Tuesday morning. This is a departure from the traditional schedule in which the board meets on Sunday, and the education seminar and committee meetings are held on Monday. The meeting will conclude on Thursday morning. Please make your travel arrangements accordingly.

 

Keynote Speaker: The Road to 2020: Taxes, Tariffs, and Technology

There are political, economic, and technology trends and events occurring right now that will impact your business over the next 3–5 years. During this keynote presentation, Gene Marks reveals the most important power trends that will impact your business through 2020 and what actions to take.

 

Education Seminar: Update on the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)

The education seminar on Tuesday morning will be presented by Christine J. Sohar Henter, an attorney with Barnes & Thornburg in Washington, D.C. Henter will use her extensive experience on international trade matters and NAFTA to provide the latest update on these hot issues.

 

Panel:  Logistics

A panel of logistics experts will discuss challenges facing plants, trends, and insights on how companies should adapt. The panel will also review trends and opportunities in intermodal, trucking, and rail delivery, and they will respond to questions from the audience.
