NCCA Fall Meeting Includes Inspirational Speaker, Educational Seminar, Technical Presentations, Plant Tour and Tradeshow

Cleveland, Ohio—The National Coil Coating Association (NCCA) is planning a multitude of events for its fall technical meeting, scheduled for September 28-30 at The Westin Buckhead in Atlanta, Ga. Highlighting the meeting is a special luncheon presentation by Joe Torrillo, a 25-year lieutenant with the New York City Fire Department, who was on the scene and critically injured during the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center terrorist attacks.

In addition to Torrillo’s inspirational speech, attendees will have an opportunity to take a plant tour of Metal Coaters of Georgia and attend several technical presentations including:

• Predicting Durability of Organic Coatings

• Next Generation of Mill Applied Pretreatments

• Zinc Coalition Report

• HD Cameras for Surface Inspection

• Accelerated vs. Real Time Weathering

There is also an educational seminar on the demonstration of imperfections (defects) and the NCCA Annual Trade Show. The educational seminar is scheduled for Monday, September 28 at 3:30 p.m. The seminar will train attendees about the common issues that coaters face on a daily basis, and the possible solutions to these issues.

The annual tradeshow is scheduled for September 29 at 4:30 p.m. at The Westin Buckhead. The NCCA tradeshow is an excellent opportunity for equipment suppliers to reach the leading technical talent and leading companies in the industry. There is no better way to reach a concentrated pool of qualified buyers than through participation at the NCCA tradeshow.
