NCCA Selects New Marketing Tagline
CLEVELAND, OH (Oct. 8, 2013) – The National Coil Coating Association (NCCA) has selected a new tagline to accompany its efforts to expand the market for coil coated products. The new tagline, “Prepainted Metal: Economical, Efficient and Eco-Friendly,” was announced by Jeff Widenor, NCCA president, at the association’s Fall Technical Meeting in Baltimore in late September.
The previous tagline, used since 2005, was “Prepainted Metal Saves Cost, Time and Hassles.” In early 2013, the NCCA Marketing Committee launched a contest to change it. The new line was submitted by Ken Dyer of Consolidated Systems, Columbia SC, who won an American Express Gift Card for his winning entry.
“Since 2005, the demand for eco-friendly construction materials has continued to increase,” said Widenor. “The new tagline draws greater attention to the environmental commitment and advantages of prepainted metals.”
“Prepainted Metal: Economical, Efficient and Eco-Friendly,” will appear on a variety of NCCA marketing materials such as its website, newsletters, press releases, and a variety of market publications.
