NCCA Fall Technical Meeting to Include Education, Tradeshow and Innovative Presentations

Fall meeting lineup to include seminar on coatings, economics speaker, presentations on innovative products and trade show.

Cleveland – June 2017 – The National Coil Coating Association (NCCA) announces the lineup for its annual technical meeting at the Renaissance Fort Worth, in Fort Worth, Texas, September 25-27, 2017.

The 2017 meeting will kick off with an education seminar on coatings with David Cocuzzi, NCCA’s technical director. The seminar will take a deep look into the formulation of coatings and how formulation variables affect physical properties and long-term durability.

In addition to the seminar, NCCA announced the luncheon speaker, Todd Buchholz. Buchholz is an international economist, hedge fund manager, winner of Harvard’s annual teaching prize and a frequent TV and radio commentator. He is a widely sought-after keynote speaker addressing a variety of topics from the U.S. financial markets to geo-political debates to economic policies that impact business strategies around the globe. Buchholz will close the fall meeting with his presentation after lunch on September 27.

The annual trade show will take place on Tuesday, September 26, from 4:30-7:00 p.m. and offers the opportunity to network with industry peers and reach qualified buyers.

“This year’s technical meeting will be an excellent event,” said Mark Slawikowski, NCCA program planning committee chair. “We’re looking forward to another successful education seminar, interesting technical presentations and the announcement of the winner of the Best Safety Practices Award.”

The fall meeting will kick off the presentations with "Transformational Thinking: The Necessity of Innovation." This presentation will inspire out-of-the box thinking and is an excellent lead-in to several other presentations on innovation. These include: Radiative Sky Cooling, State-of-the Art Laminates, Modeling Thermo-Mechanical Properties and more.
